Data elements and graph data management with TENGU.

Posted on 9-jun-2020 16:58:39

Another exciting week in the TENGU launch. We made our second demo video as we're gearing up and getting the platform ready to launch by the end of June. What can you expect from it? Let's take a look here.

In last week's blog, we discussed how the platform would work in general and optimise your data teams efficiency. Now it's time to go deeper into its functions and how it can help you innovatively and straightforwardly.

Our second demo video: managing your graph and its elements.

We're not going to tease you any longer. Below you can watch our second demo video, giving you a preview of how TENGU allows you to organise your data elements and perform actions on them quickly with the graph data management:

What you'll see in this video.

Busy day? I'll quickly lay out what you can expect from this video.

This video will show you how to select related elements and create a group based on them or add them to existing groups. This way, you can perform actions on this group as if they were singular data elements. Some examples: you can add a tag, so it's even easier to filter your graph based on the groups and gain an overview of relevant data flows or use cases. You can also add documentation or comments to groups so that there's no need to add those to every single appropriate resource.

The other way around, you can also quickly check any single resource to see which groups it belongs to, making it easy to get around your data environment.

What's next?

Next week we've got another demo video planned. This time, we're going to take a deeper look at the ease of creating and integrating data elements into your graph. We're pretty excited about this one, and we hope you are too!
