Managing resources and graph in Tengu: our second demo video & DataNews awards

Posted on 9-jun-2020 16:58:39

Another exciting week in the Tengu launch, as we're gearing up and getting the platform ready to launch by the end of June, we made our second demo video, what can you expect from it? Let's take a look here.

Last week's blog we discussed how the platform will work in general, and how it can optimise your datateams efficiency. Now it's time go deeper into it's functions and how it can help you in an innovative and straightforward way.

Our second demo video: managing your graph and it's resources.

We're not gonna tease you any longer. Below you can watch our second demo video, giving you a preview of how Tengu allows you to quickly organise your data resources and perform actions on them:

What you'll see in this video.

Busy day? I'll quickly lay out what you can expect from this video.

In this video we'll show you how you can select related resources and create a group based on them, or add them to existing groups. This way you can perform actions on this group as if they were singular data resources. Some examples: you can add a tag so it's even easier to filter your graph based on the groups and gain an overview of relevant dataflows or usecases. You can also add documentation or comments to groups, so that there's no need to add those to every single relevant resource.

The other way around, you can also quickly check any single resource to see which groups it belongs to, making it easy to get around your data environment.

What's next?

Next week we've got another demo video planned, this time we're gonna take a deeper look at the ease creating and integrating data resources into your graph. We're pretty excited about this one and we hope you are too!

Want to help Tengu out? We've been nominated by DataNews in the awards for excellence of 2020 for the award 'Enterprise application innovator of the year'! (which you can read more about here).

Until next week!
